Jinming

Aug. 27th, another day that to be remembered.

 

I wasn't sure when it happened, probably when I was sitting at my 4x2 feet desk strangled in my 4x3 feet booth in our, well, fairly to say, quite large office. at the basement floor of cource. So I was sitting there, typing my thesis, like what I've been doing for the past several months. Lately every word I wrote merge into a shatter hope... thats another long story.

 

Somebody walked to my desk, somebody who doesn't belong to our lab. I can sense that, like everytime I sensed my boss is coming. I quickly lifted my head, an Indian young fella stood there, looking at me, or may I say, staring at me.

 

"Hi, Jinming. I am xxxx. Nice to meet you. We've been following your work for two years, it's really glad to finally meet you in person..."

 

wow.......and I mean, WOW..............
I didn't follow the rest, something to do with his job in India, and as he said, he used the method in our papers and seems like it helped. appearently he just started his pursue of a Master degree (possible Doctor) at U of M...
I didn't figure all of that at the moment, because I was passionately explaining to him what I have been working on recently.

 

Or was i just expressing my feelings with gestures? I must realize that this WAS the moment, a moment might never come around again, a moment that sparked a tiny little light in the whole dark bitter life of a graduate. a moment that only a miserable Phd (to be) would enjoy and brag about....and as I am right now thinking about it, a moment that really put me on the top of... well... my lackluster career.

 

it's good to be a grad student, never been better, just ask somebody to pretend knowing what you do. 

很久没更新了，下次更新也不知是啥时候。

咱也不能老空着，好歹要对的起人家msn给咱这块地儿。
